We survived! That was hopefully the worst weather anyone of us will ever have to race in, let alone ride.

State in KY was supposed to be a warmer race as was the purpose, at least, for having it early in the season and the southern-most race in the conference. Saturday was the road race and it was in the upper 30's, windy and rainy off and on all day. We even got sleet!
Somehow all three of us finished our races as southeast missouri state has officially enter the world of collegiate cycling for the first time in history. Mr. Dave Hearnes stuck it in the D race and finished strong, and our star rookie Josh Morrow finsish a very respectable 9th in the D race! and yours truly hung onto the back of the pack for a fun little bunch sprint in the A race.
